Craig Bellamy vill göra världen bättre. Han investerar pegar i fotbollsakademier i Afrika. Nu kommer de första rapporterna från hans verksamhet.
From The Mail, Monday:
West Ham striker Craig Bellamy allegedly attacked a charity worker while in Sierra Leone to promote his football foundation.
The Premiership player was in the war-torn African country’s capital, Freetown, to visit the academy he invested £650,000 in.
Mr Bellamy, 28, is said to have flown into a rage after losing money at a casino during an all-day drinking session and lashed out at the charity worker.
A witness said: ‘He was playing roulette when something upset him. He jumped on a guy and wrestled him to the floor.
The guy was an Englishman in Sierra Leone to raise money for a charity that works with orphaned children.’
Mr Bellamy’s agent has denied the accusations.
